I know I wanted to buy clothes there but I couldn't afford them. But I remember the staff being nice and just letting me browse around. Hopefully a place like that pops up again in the Boston area in the future.David M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12662648784436551995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081206974005845104.post-83844739842908300962012-09-28T05:23:05.915-07:002012-09-28T05:23:05.915-07:00I see now that Paul Fussell died on May 23, 2012, ...I see now that Paul Fussell died on May 23, 2012, age 88. Did they go out of business in 1995, or did they survive longer but business got so bad by then that you were laid off, or did you choose to quit? I recall you saying they largely abandoned trad merchandise at the end, and that Mrs. Simon was appalled. I'm happy to be able to say that my preschool-aged son loves to wear "Daddy shirts" (i.e., collared shirts), neckties, and his blazer.Young Fogeynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081206974005845104.post-25166336352165343922012-09-27T11:57:23.563-07:002012-09-27T11:57:23.563-07:00"Their," not "there.""Their," not "there."Donaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17885899797053388360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081206974005845104.post-53741979333010032302012-09-27T10:44:42.213-07:002012-09-27T10:44:42.213-07:00Lovely, lovely postLovely, lovely postAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081206974005845104.post-19757282536192364952012-09-27T09:22:00.891-07:002012-09-27T09:22:00.891-07:00Isn't it funny when we look back at ourselves ...Isn't it funny when we look back at ourselves and thought how cool we looked?
