Limits....

....even I have them.

I work at night, and as such often putter around the house in my pyjamas until late morning. I ought to have nicer pyjamas, I suppose. But I just can't bring myself to hang around the house in a night shirt without feeling like a jerk.
Even if it is a really nice one from Brooks Brothers. Before anyone makes a crack about the matching night cap and candlestick, Mrs. G already beat you to it. She had plenty other choice humorous remarks to make as well. The last thing sleepwear should do is make you appear silly in the eyes of your significant other.

I have my limits.

  1. You should save it for Christmas Eve and read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to your kiddos while wearing it. Be sure to sit on the sofa with them and take lots of pics for us. :)

Oh, and you'll need a matching "cap" to go with it!

  2. Let Mrs. G wear it.

  3. I own a night shirt from Brooks Brothers and wear it quite regularly. Extremely freeing. I picked it up at an outlet about two years ago. When we have company staying with us I certainly do get looks and questions, but its worth it. I say don't knock it 'til you try it!

  4. I started couple summers ago with a BB in broadcloth. By winter, I had acquired one in flannel. Night shirts completely rock, no matter how much the wife teases.

  5. If you put that in the store, I would buy it!
