H-E-double hockey sticks

The man from Brooks Brothers: Vintage 1980s Brooks Brothers "346" kelly green hopsack blazer,acquired through trade; Brooks Brothers pinpoint oxford shirt, made in USA, thrift store; Brooks Brothers navy chinos with embroidered kelly green whales, thrift store; J. Press ribbon belt: gingham square, cut from an old shirt.

It is my great honor to declare "Go To Hell" season officially open. Gentlemen, do your worst!

    "Gentlemen" do your worst? Ahem. Let's not forget us ladies. We like our embroidered critters as well. Other than the obvious female oversight, excellent post as usual. Just bought a new pair this week - navy with sailboats. Can't wait.

    Hi, cool outfit. Can I ask what the 346 designates please? I have a BB blazer which I would guess is from the same period, but it's navy - also with a 346 label.

    The whales look a completely different shade from the blazer. They can't both be "Kelly green".

    I'd describe the blazer as 'forest green' or Phthalo green or perhaps Brunswick green. Then again maybe the colour looks different on the photo than in real life.

    Great outfit! Love the green whales. The green, blue and white combonation remind me of the old Hartford Whalers. I miss the Whalers!

    in the uk where i have a home ive never ever seen one piece of clothing that i would buy, most of its really rubbish, usa must be much better
