I actually like yellow ties, especially pale ones in summer. But for a long time I avoided them because someone remarked that only mall salesmen wore yellow ties.
ReplyDeleteI've learned to stop listening so much and I'm back on yellow ties in the summer, with a mustard yellow knit for autumnal wear.
Yellow on darker blue never seems to go, or maybe it did back in the nineties? It's always hard to rationalise some stylistic choices of past decades.
